Members are reminded that on competition days, they cannot move their tee time on the same day.

The computers in the Men's and Ladies Changing Rooms can now be used to book or view tee times through the BRS system. If the Pro Shop is busy or closed then you can book there.

Team Sweaters - Ladies and Seniors - we have a few in stock in various sizes if anyone still needs to purchase one for next season.

We will set up various group lessons for the New Year and into Spring ahead of the 2020 golfing season. Before Christmas is not the best time as everyone is busy, but dates and times will be announced here in the next few weeks:

LADIES GROUP - will be aimed at newer lady members and their proposers, to introduce them to the Club, the practice facilities and other members. With instruction on putting, chipping, swing, course strategy, etc. There will be a few on a Tuesday and Thursday lunchtime to tie in other ladies being around on same day. There will be a few at various times on a weekend.

JUNIOR GROUP - continues as normal on Saturdays as shown below.

SENIORS - open to men and ladies, aimed at improving short game and strategy. Weekday times to be advised.

If you have any clubs less than 3 years old, we can sell them for you and the proceeds will go on to your Pro Shop account. They must be in good condition and recognised brands.

As usual at this time of year! Pay £100 onto your Pro Shop account (must be in credit) and receive - 10% discount off all purchases until end of 2020, a free glove of your choice, the £100 will be on your account to use at any time.

MOTOCADDY are offering a free bag worth £125 to £195 depending on which electric trolley from their range you purchase (during November and December).

TITLEIST PRO V1 balls are now available at £35 per dozen (in November and December).

TITLEIST - any ball from their range can be printed with lettering. Before Christmas, the minimum order has been reduced to 2 dozen per order. Printing is free of charge. Orders must be made before 10th December for Christmas delivery.

Tickets on sale at £1 each. A wide range of prizes are available including clothing, shoes, bags and an electric trolley worth over £400+.

Christmas is only a few weeks away and some items may need to be ordered in so please plan ahead. Suggestions include:
- Electric trolleys by Powakaddy or Motocaddy starting at £399 depending on level of spec.
- Push trolleys by Powakaddy or Motocaddy at around £135.
- Shoes for both men and ladies by Ecco, Adidas, FootJoy and GFore.
- S&A accessories including ... holdalls, towels, winter hats, baseball caps, clothing, flasks, etc.
- SkyCaddie GPS devices - new SX400 now in stock at £275.
- Lesson voucher for use during 2020 at any time. The lesson can be tailored to any requirements or can be suggested. Single lesson £30, Three lesson voucher £75, Half day lesson £85.
- Gift voucher to any value.

Next Junior Comps - we will run a mix of 9 hole comps on Saturday afternoons from around 2.30pm over Autumn and Winter as usual. There will also be a few Greensomes, Texas Scrambles and Individual Stablefords depending on numbers each week. Please phone the Pro Shop to book in at least 2 days ahead.

JUNIOR PRESENTATION EVENING - Sunday 24th November at 6.30pm
Juniors and parents are welcome to attend.

JUNIOR GROUP LESSON – Saturday 23rd November at 12 noon. Maximum 7 Juniors per group. £5 per Junior per week. Must register in advance each week before Thursday evening. Please call 01704 577316.


Saturdays -
Play in 4's each Saturday over winter. Will be over 15 or 16 holes for the next few weeks to allow more players to complete their round.

Saturday 16th November - Teams, best 2 scores each hole, best 3 on par 3s
Saturday 23rd November - Teams, best 2 scores each hole
Saturday 30th November - Betterball in pairs

Sundays -
No men's competitions for the next few weeks as most are playing Winter League matches.

Wednesdays - we will run Individual Stablefords on a Wednesday through winter. If we are playing the full 18 hole course on the day then it will qualify for handicapping, but if we have reduced holes or a shortened course then it will not.

Buggies – please keep to paths and fairways, not in the rough or heather.

Practice area – the range will be restricted to maximum 200 yards. IRONS ONLY. Strictly no shots beyond 200 yards for safety reasons.

Sunday mornings, a member may only sign in one guest, maximum, before 12.30pm.

These include -
- Free drop outside of the bunker, not nearer the hole, if your ball is plugged in revetted face of a bunker.
- Water in bunkers – you should take a free drop in the sand wherever possible. If the bunker is totally full of water and there is nowhere to drop, you can take a free drop outside of the bunker under no penalty, at nearest point of relief not nearer the hole.
- Preferred lies on fairways.
