JUNIORS
Saturday group coaching sessions - must be booked at least 2 days in advance by contacting the Pro Shop on 01704 577316. Cost is £5 per Junior.
The next sessions are 11am and 12 noon on Saturday 8th September. Maximum of 8 Juniors per group.

Men's Invitation - Wednesday 29 August
1st - Ian Workman and A Sproat - 45 points
2nd - A MacGlashan and P Johnson - 45 points (on countback)
3rd - N Leadbetter and M Owen - 44 points

MEMBERS INFORMATION
- Please note on Sunday mornings that a member may only sign in one guest before 12.30pm. If you wish to bring two or more guests on a Sunday it must be in the afternoon.
- TaylorMade Demo Day - Tuesday 18th September. Book a dedicated half hour time between 12 noon and 4pm. Open to ladies and men to try the very latest TaylorMade range and be custom fit to your specification. M3 and M4 irons and woods, plus the new GAPR hybrid/driving iron which is being used by many tour Pro’s and only launched on 1st September.
- SALES – Due to the warm, dry summer, as you can imagine, some items have not sold as well as normal including waterproof suits. The sale rail in the Shop will be dedicated to the following items on the dates shown:
1st Sept for 9 days: Galvin Green – all items on sale rail reduced by 25% or more.
10th Sept for a week: Ladies sale rail including Galvin Green, Glenmuir, Daily.
- The Captain's Prize Final between Mike Elliott and Harry Begg has been moved from this Sunday and is now to be played on the afternoon of Sunday 16th September. All supporters are welcome to attend.

Saturday 8th September - Autumn Meeting Round 2 and Yellow Tee Stableford
Saturday 15th September - Medal and Yellow Tee Stableford

Additional Sunday Stablefords have been added for the rest of the season to help 6 Day Members and those who cannot play on a Saturday on any week.
Next Sunday Stableford date - 16th September

Midweek competition date - 12th September (Medal)

Signing up for the WINTER LEAGUE is now available on the Noticeboard.

LADIES:
Sunday 9th September - Medal
Tuesday 13th September - Autumn Meeting and 9 Hole Red Tee Stableford
Sunday 16th September - Medal

Signing up for Ladies competitions will be online from midday 8 days ahead. Where there is also a 9 hole comp, a few tee times will be reserved for 9 hole players. You should be able to see these on the BRS booking page.

MIXED:
Mixed Invitation - Sunday 9th September
Sign-up sheet in the Pro Shop. Teams of four, two members and two non-members. £30 per team of four. Meals to be arranged and booked separately.

JUNIORS:
Club competitions normally involve 18 holes Yellow or Blue Tee comps plus a 9 hole Blue Tee Stableford. Sign in with £1 entry fee on the day. Please book in advance by phoning the Pro Shop on 01704 577316. Next competition date - Sunday 2nd September.

WE WILL SELL YOUR OLD CLUBS:
As in the past, we are reintroducing the service to sell unwanted clubs. They MUST be less than 5 years old, Ping, Callaway, TaylorMade or Titleist, wedges, drivers, fairways, putters, irons and in good condition. They will be sold through the Pro Shop or on Ebay for you and proceeds go on to your account, less postage costs.

Individual 40 minutes - £30
Course of three lessons - £75
Juniors - £20
Two lessons on the range and one on course 6 hole playing lesson - £95
Group lesson – form your own group of 2, 3 or 4 players - 9.30am to 3pm including long game, short game, bunkers, putting and 6 holes on the course. £50 per person for 2 or £35 per person for 3 or 4 players. Covering technique, strategy, practice drills, course management, etc.

COURSE INFORMATION:
- A complete list of all GUR areas is on noticeboards around the Clubhouse.
- BUGGY RULES - please keep buggies to paths and fairways only. If you are using a buggy in a competition you should have a medical note. Other players are not allowed to ride in the buggy or have their clubs carried by the buggy unless they also have a medical note.
